This valentines i offered couples a great photoshoot deal which included three 12″ x 10″ prints! To celebrate their 3 years together (and as a great valentines gift) Natalie and Toby booked in for their photoshoot.. So last Saturday, we met at the beautiful Lincoln Cathedral and dodged the rain to get some nice shots!

A sneak preview of my shoot with Baby K, aged 2 months!

Last week I was asked to photograph a play called Laminated, produced by Shooting Fish theatre company.

A little bit of information about the play: “Laminated is an imaginative and wonerfully visual piece, using puppetry and physical theatre to bring life to the stories and memories of Charlie’s world. It asks us to consider the reality of chasing our dreams, and all the things in life that we can see, but not touch.”

The set was fantastic. Cardboard boxes everywhere with each one having a relevance to the play. If you can get tickets, i would highly recommend going to see the show. It’s being shown right now in London at Tristan Bates Theatre, every day until the 19th february.

I have made a separate website to my main (www.courtneylouisephotography.co.uk) which contains films and theatre stills. My new stills website is: www.courtneylouisestills.moonfruit.com

I havent posted a wedding for far too long, so here are a few images from the wedding of Vanessa and Daniel !

The reception took place at the beautiful white hart hotel in Lincoln’s histroic Bailgate area.

The hotel has a special balcony area overlooking the lincoln cathedral.

Happy New year!

Ready in time for Valentines day, I have introduced a very reasonable package  to make a lovely valentines gift for someone special.

To book, simply email: info@courtneylouisephotography.com – only a few dates left!

On Sunday 3rd October, i exhibited at the Lincoln Wedding Fayre. I was placed in the Lincoln Hotel (http://www.thelincolnhotel.com/) which has the most stunning views of the cathedral!!

The day was a huge success, with several bookings and many enquiries- most of my 2011 diary is pencilled in!

It was really refreshing to hear so many positive and encouraging words from brides and grooms to be. The leather album seemed to impress everyone, and all in all- a fantastic day!

Despite the awful weather (rain and gale force winds!!) the other suppliers i met, seemed to have a good success to!

Including: http://www.celebrationcakesbycarol.co.uk/ (who makes the most delicious cakes!!) My space was next to Carols, and with such a colourful (and great smelling) stand- she had many visitors! Oh and no, I didn’t eat any cakes.. it was extremely hard not to especially when she asked me to watch over her stall for a tea-break! :-)

I also met the lovely Sarah from Pink Shoes Art (http://www.pinkshoesart.com/index.html) who does some fantastic designs- perfect for wedding gifts and decorations.

Another friend at the Fayre, was Faye from ‘Blushes’ she was very popular throughout the day, giving make overs all day! (http://www.blusheslincoln.co.uk/)

If any Lincoln brides didnt make it to this one, i would highly recommend coming along to the March 2011 fayre!!

Introducing our latest inspirational young entreprener - Courtney Louise Howson There’s something pretty special about speaking with someone who has so much passion they’re about to burst. We are very lucky here at the NEA that we often come across such people, some are just starting out and some are well into their entrepreneurial journey but one thing is for sure their passion is infectious! We are starting a series of interviews for our blog to try to capture some of that infectious passion, and we are starting it all off … Read More

I am very pleased to tell you all that I am now an inspiring ambassador for the NEA (National Enterprise Academy). The NEA was founded by Peter Jones (One of the BBC Dragons Den team) It’s a fantastic academy encouraging and teaching 16-19 year olds how to be successful entrepreneurs. Prior to the student attending, there are many different tests the student has to complete and pass before going on to the next level; making sure the individual has the drive, passion and motivation to be a successful student.

I recently had an interview with the NEA, and they have published it on their blog:
